About the Event
We invite you to join leading scholars and fellow researchers in in-depth discussions of the latest theoretical, empirical, and methodological dimensions of L2 writing and feedback research carried out from both SLA and multimodality perspectives.
AIM
The aim of this third edition of the UMU Research Seminar is to bring together experts in the field to take stock of the latest theoretical, methodological, and empirical developments and advance future research agendas.
DATES & VENUE
The conference will be held from 22-24 May, 2025, hosted by the University of Murcia in Spain. This is a hybrid conference, offering participants the opportunity to present their research either on-site in Murcia or online. More information will be provided in the forthcoming weeks.
PROGRAM
On Days 1 (Thursday, May 22) and 2 (Friday, May 23), state-of-the-art, position papers, and empirical studies will be presented and discussed in a series of colloquia (see list of invited speakers below).
On Day 3 (Saturday, May 24), papers submitted to the Open Call for Papers will be featured in parallel sessions. Participants are invited to present proposals with original research on the seminar themes, including empirical studies. Abstracts should be up to 300 words.
